Koh Maphrao, also known as Coconut Island, is located just off the east coast of Phuket, in Koh Kaew Subdistrict, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket Province. Thailand. Covering roughly 2,620 rai, the island is home to about 800–1,200 residents. It lies approximately 3–5 kilometers from Phuket’s mainland and is easily accessible via a short boat ride from Laem Hin Pier.
